This fascinating course contains everything you need to know to get started on your wheel throwing journey. In a small sociable group of 5 people you will learn the basics of throwing pots with time to practice your skills. You will make a variety of forms including mugs, vases and bowls, trim and glaze your pieces. Your pots will be fired to earthenware or stoneware in our kiln for later collection. Each class includes 1 hour 45 minutes of making and 30 minutes for clean-up of the wheels. On week 4 there will be a Tuesday 28th May class for making and Wednesday 29th May class for turning. There will be no class on week 5 4th June to allow us time to bisque fire your pieces ready for glazing on week 6.
